FHLBank San Francisco is inviting nominations and applications for an open seat on our Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council).
For terms beginning in 2027, we are in search of one new Advisory Council member who has a proven track record of collaborating across public and private partnerships to create affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families and individuals, preferably in the Southern Nevada area.
We welcome your applications and nominations for this open Advisory Council seat! More information about the volunteer service role can be found on our Advisory Council webpage. Applications and nominations must be submitted by May 21, 2026. A completed and submitted application is required but a nomination is not required to be considered. Nominations for individuals that do not submit an application will not be considered.
Our 15-member Advisory Council, made up of senior executives who represent a broad range of affordable housing and community development organizations operating in the Bank's district of Arizona, California, and Nevada, helps shape the Bank's community programs, including the Affordable Housing Program (AHP). It also guides the Bank’s voluntary homeownership and economic development grant programs offered to the Bank’s member financial institutions.
The Bank and its board of directors highly value the special expertise and perspective on local needs that our Advisory Council members bring to furthering our mission of making our communities more vibrant and resilient. We appreciate your assistance in nominating well-qualified candidates for the Advisory Council.
