Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-lead groups whose aim is to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace, aligned with the Bank’s mission. Employees are welcome to join any ERG.

ADAPT

ADAPT (Abled and Disabled Allies Partnering Together), is focused on disability and neurodiversity inclusion. ADAPT’s mission is to increase awareness of and advocacy for persons with disabilities and neurodiversity, as well as their family members and parents of children with disabilities and neurodiversity. We also want to create a community where individuals with neurodiversity and disabilities, and their allies, may share knowledge and experience.

Asian Achieve

Asian Achieve provides employees a way to support, connect, and engage with the Pan-Asian community at the Bank. We foster an inclusive and supportive environment that provides all employees with networking, mentoring, and educational opportunities.

CHISPA (Celebrating Hispanic Inclusion, Sharing Perspectives and Appreciation)

The mission of CHISPA is to foster and inspire awareness, understanding, and appreciation of past, present, and future contributions of the Hispanic community throughout the Bank. It is a strong, community-centered group grounded in Hispanic culture.

Employee Activities Group

The mission of the Employee Activities Group is to coordinate enjoyable and rewarding social networking activities for employees in a casual environment at the Bank, offsite, or in a virtual setting. We work to foster staff relationships, optimize job and workplace satisfaction, and recognize the great work of our employees at the Bank.

Pride and Allies

The Pride and Allies group promotes an inclusive community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) employees and their allies. This ERG, which is open to all Bank employees, supports the Bank’s efforts to diversify staff and works to recruits and retain LGBTQ-identified employees.

VERB (Valuing Equity Representing the Bank)

The mission of VERB is to cultivate Black leadership and excellence throughout the Bank by fostering greater engagement with senior management, ensuring cross-functional understanding of Bank operations. We do this by delivering programs that unite, educate, inspire, and transform the collective cultural perspective of all employees to enhance the value of the Bank franchise.

Women at FHLBank SF (W@F)

Women at FHLBank SF (W@F) offers employees an inclusive, supportive environment, networking opportunities, and resources to promote personal and professional development at the Bank. W@F provides opportunities for women that facilitates their professional development, helps them reach their career aspirations, and allows them to have open dialogues about the barriers and misconceptions that exist for women in the workplace.

Working Parents Network

Working Parents Network provides an opportunity for working parents, and employees who care for special needs individuals, to connect and have an open forum to share best practices and challenges of being a working parent to promote a sustainable work/life balance.
