FHLBank San Francisco partners with our member financial institutions to facilitate homeownership, create affordable housing, and fuel economic development across Arizona, California and Nevada. Created by Congress in 1932, the Federal Home Loan Bank System is an essential bridge connecting our member financial institutions with dependable access to the liquidity they need to grow resilient communities.

We provide our members with reliable access to liquidity, essential financial services and expertise, and resources for affordable housing and economic development. Together, we make our communities more vibrant, equitable, and resilient, changing lives for the better. Since 1932, the FHLBank System been a vital source of liquidity for its members — today, 6,500* financial institutions rely on their regional Federal Home Loan Bank to help meet the changing credit needs of their customers and communities.
