Bringing Communities and Elected Officials Together to Advance Housing Solutions

Bringing Communities and Elected Officials Together to Advance Housing Solutions

Across Arizona, California and Nevada, FHLBank San Francisco brings together elected officials, housing advocates, member financial institutions, developers, nonprofit organizations and community leaders to discuss one of the most pressing challenges facing our communities: housing affordability.
Our affordable housing roundtables create a forum for open dialogue, collaboration and problem-solving. These conversations help identify local housing needs, highlight innovative solutions and strengthen partnerships that can accelerate housing production, affordability and access to homeownership.
FHLBank San Francisco works closely with federal, state and local elected officials in Arizona, California and Nevada to organize and facilitate discussions tailored to local housing challenges and opportunities.

Increasing affordable housing supply
Expanding homeownership opportunities
Leveraging public-private partnerships
Reducing barriers to housing development
Addressing housing instability
Coordinating local, state and federal resources
Supporting workforce and rural housing needs
Through these conversations, participants can share challenges, identify opportunities, and build relationships that help move housing solutions forward.
The FHLBank San Francisco Public Affairs team serves as a resource for policymakers, member financial institutions, housing organizations, and other stakeholders seeking to better understand the role of the Federal Home Loan Bank System and issues affecting housing, community investment, and financial institutions across Arizona, California, and Nevada.
Through engagement with members, elected officials, and community partners, we support informed dialogue and foster strong relationships that advance housing affordability, community development, and a resilient financial system.
