A Continuum of Care

Hope, change, and new beginnings: at A New Leaf’s La Mesita campus in Mesa, Arizona, families and individuals find the shelter, safety, resources, and support they need to gain or regain their independence. The project received three AHP grants totaling $1.26 million through Bank members National Bank of Arizona and Raza Development Fund.

2016 National Interagency Community Reinvestment Conference

February 8-10, 2016

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, FDIC, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Community Development Financial Institution Fund are hosting  “Pathways to Economic Opportunity,” a conference with attendees from a diverse group of public, nonprofit, and private sector organizations. Jim Yacenda, VP, Community Investment, is a featured speaker on February 9.

Downtown Hayward Senior Apartments Groundbreaking & Celebration

Western County Housing and Meta Housing are celebrating the groundbreaking of Downtown Hayward Senior Apartments. The transit-oriented development, located less than a quarter mile from the Hayward BART station, will provide 60 units of affordable senior rental housing. The project received a $590,000 AHP grant through Bank member Banamex USA.

Orange County Veterans Housing Symposium

The Kennedy Commission, in partnership with the Orange County Veterans and Military Families Collaborative, will be hosting a symposium on issues related to housing veterans. Sessions will include case studies and best practices for permanent rental housing for veterans and opportunities for veteran homeownership.

Housing California 2016 Annual Conference

April 12-14, 2016

Housing California is hosting its annual conference to bring together advocates, consumers, builders, lenders, lawmakers, and other leaders in the affordable housing community in California. The conference will include more than 75 workshops, over 50 exhibitors, and attendance of over 1,100, making it one of the largest affordable housing conferences in the country.
