Based on the military principle of “Leave No One Behind,” Veterans Village of San Diego is a place where veterans of all ranks and branches have an opportunity to regain a sense of value and purpose, recover from addictions and PTSD, receive employment training and job placement assistance, and prepare to reintegrate into the community.
In our 2013 Affordable Housing Program funding competition, we awarded $56.6 million in grants to 94 projects that will create or preserve over 5,700 affordable homes for lower-income individuals and families in Arizona, California, Florida, Maine, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.
