WISH Boosts a Bid for Independence

At 42, Susie Zavala is staking a claim on independence and self-sufficiency, with a new job and a home of her own, which she bought with a boost from a $15,000 WISH grant delivered through FHLBank San Francisco member TruWest Credit Union.


AHEAD 2019: Apply Now!

Delivered through our member financial institutions to nonprofit organizations in Arizona, California, and Nevada, AHEAD grants advance economic development initiatives that help lower-income communities thrive. The deadline for members to submit applications is June 6.

17th Annual "Beyond Perceptions" Awards Celebration

A Community of Friends (ACOF) is recognizing affordable housing leaders in the Los Angeles region at its annual gala. ACOF is a nonprofit affordable housing developer with a mission of ending homelessness for people living with mental illness. The Bank’s AHP has provided funding for several ACOF developments and Executive Director Dora Leong Gallo sits on the Bank's Affordable Housing Advisory Council.

Hosted by Homeownership SF, the San Francisco Housing Expo helps potential homeowners connect with local resources and opportunities for affordable homeownership. The Bank is a sponsor of this annual event where local Bank members will be on hand to share information about our WISH and IDEA first-time homebuyer programs with attendees.

June 10-11, 2019

Native Nation Events is hosting a conference for tribal associations focused on economic diversification. Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with top experts and discover new ways of diversifying their tribe’s economic ventures beyond gaming. The Bank will participate in a panel discussion on accessing capital for tribal projects.

2019 Interagency Minority Depository Institution and CDFI Bank Conference

June 25-26, 2019

The FDIC, OCC, and Federal Reserve are hosting a conference for minority depository institutions (MDIs) and CDFI bank executives. This year’s theme is “Focusing on the Future” and the event will feature interactive workshops and opportunities for MDIs and CDFIs to network. The Bank will be participating in a panel discussion about federal programs that can support MDIs and CDFIs.
