Effective May 12, 2016, Greg Seibly became President and CEO of FHLBank San Francisco. He succeeds Dean Schultz, who previously announced his retirement. Seibly most recently served as the President of Consumer Banking at Umpqua Bank.
With the 2016 allocation, 35 Bank members will use WISH and IDEA funds to assist homebuyers in Arizona, California, Nevada, and other states where Bank members do business. Fifteen are first-time participants.
To help structure the initiative, the Bank is holding a series of roundtable discussions where local, regional, and national leaders will discuss best practices for growing quality jobs and supporting small business expansion. The Aspen Institute will assist in developing a white paper that will help shape the RFP phase of this initiative.
Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley will celebrate the completion of Phase One of the Muir Ridge development with the partner families and volunteers who built the new single-family homes. The project received a $120,000 AHP grant through member Bank of the West.
LINC Housing Corporation will celebrate the groundbreaking of Mosaic Gardens at Westlake, a new affordable housing community that will feature 125 units for individuals and families, including 63 units set aside for formerly homeless residents. The project received a $600,000 AHP grant.
