Alta Mira and Cadence Grand Opening Celebration

Hayward, CA

A representative of the Bank will speak at the grand opening celebration for the Alta Mira and Cadence development, hosted by Eden Housing, City of Hayward, and AMCAL. The Alta Mira is a new transit-oriented, mixed-income development providing 151 affordable apartments for families and seniors on a site that was formerly a South Hayward BART parking lot. Cadence offers 206 market-rate apartments adjacent to Alta Mira. The Alta Mira received a $1,500,000 AHP grant through member Wells Fargo Financial National Bank.

Join the City of El Cerrito and Eden Housing in celebrating the goundbreaking for Hana Gardens, a 62-unit affordable rental apartment complex with street level retail and commercial space, located adjacent to City Hall. The project received a $620,000 AHP grant through member Wells Fargo Financial National Bank.

Bay Area Affordable Mortgage Forum

The FDIC is hosting a forum focused on how financial institutions can use downpayment assistance programs as part of their Community Reinvestment Act strategy. Bank staff will present information on the WISH and IDEA first-time homebuyer programs at the event, which will also be attended by nonprofit housing counselors and other organizations that might partner with financial institutions to assist the homebuyers.

The facility provides onsite service coordination, ensuring residents access to intensive supportive services. This project received a $480,000 AHP grant in 2014.
