Amerind Risk/NAIHC Annual Convention & Trade Show

The Bank, along with four other Federal Home Loan Banks, is sponsoring this annual convention and trade show hosted by the Native American Indian Housing Council. The convention is an opportunity for leaders, administrators, and business professionals to share information and discuss strategies for addressing issues facing Tribes and Tribal communities. NAIHC supports the efforts of Tribal organizations to provide safe, affordable, and culturally appropriate housing for Native people.

Los Angeles Tri-Annual Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) Meeting

Los Angeles, CA

The FDIC is hosting a regional meeting for the Alliance for Economic Inclusion, its national initiative to establish coalitions of financial institutions, community-based organizations, and other partners to bring all unbanked and underserved populations into the financial mainstream. Bank staff will present information on the WISH and IDEA first-time homebuyer programs at the event, which will be attended by nonprofit and other organizations that might partner with financial institutions to assist potential homebuyers.

The Bank is a sponsor of the Korean Churches for Community Development (KCCD) 16th Annual Homeownership Fair. The event brings together mortgage experts, government housing agencies, and financial institutions to share information about homeownership resources with members of the community. KCCD is a nonprofit housing counseling organization focused on Asian American communities in Southern California.

Little Tokyo Service Center 11th Annual Sake & Food Tasting Event

Los Angeles, CA

The Bank is among the sponsors of Little Tokyo Service Center’s 11th Annual Sake & Food Tasting Event. This festive fundraiser is an opportunity to sample dishes from local restaurants and taste a wide variety of sake, shocu, and beer from domestic and international brewers. Entertainment will be provided by local musicians and artists. The organization’s Executive Director, Dean Matsubayashi, sits on the Bank’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council.
