The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco delivers low-cost funding and other services that help member financial institutions make home mortgages to people of all income levels and provide credit that supports neighborhoods and communities. As a wholesale bank, we do not provide retail services to consumers.
 
The Bank offers targeted grant programs for very low- to moderate-income families and individuals through its members, who work with sponsoring organizations based in their communities.
 
Consumers may contact members and sponsors that have recently received grants to learn about the following programs:
Consumers who may be at risk of foreclosure can contact the holder of their mortgage to inquire about eligibility for the following pilot grant program:

National Low Income Housing Coalition, a national policy advocacy organization, provides fact sheets and a list of frequently asked questions on topics ranging from homeownership to public housing to homeless assistance.
 
San Diego Housing Federation provides information about a variety of affordable housing opportunities—emergency, transitional, permanent housing, homeownership assistance— in San Diego County.
